Spring Wedding Aesthetic
Nothing says spring like pastel colors and beautiful flowers. I mean, when you think of a spring wedding, do you think of anything else? While you probably already have these categories set, there may be a few things you can still add to make your spring wedding really special!

Pastel Colors
It’s likely you’re already having the beautiful pastel colors of spring throughout the venue on your wedding day, but there may be a few areas you can incorporate these colors that you hadn’t thought of yet.
- Make your ensemble pop with a pastel shoe under your wedding dress.
- Hang pastel colored drapes from the altar where you’re saying your vows.
- Incorporate pastel into your getting ready time with colorful bridesmaids’ robes or pajama sets.
- Or, use pastel colored plates for an elegant spring touch during your reception.

Flowers
Flowers are one of the most traditional and important parts of any wedding, but especially a spring wedding. When thinking of flowers for your spring wedding, you’re likely thinking of pink roses, wax flowers, hydrangeas, lilies, tulips, gardenia, and peonies. While you might have your spring flowers already picked out, you may not have all of these unique placements…
- Line flowers in vases going down the aisle.
- Include a flower garland wall for photo opps.
- Incorporate floral designs into your bridesmaids’ dresses or your veil.
- Have a flower-crown making station at your reception.
- Or, leave your guests with seed packet wedding favors.

Stationary
At any wedding, it’s a great idea to have plenty of signs as a way to direct your guests throughout the day or provide information in a beautiful way. Alongside the most common sign, the welcome sign, you may also want to incorporate place cards and signs for your guestbook, ceremony, gift table, dinner tables, and the bar! So, how can you incorporate these signs into your spring wedding style? Use signs where the background color or the font incorporates the beautiful pastel colors you’re using for your wedding. Or, you can decorate your signs with foliage. You can do this in different ways, by either printing a floral design on the signs, or they can be decorated with floral arrangements!
Wooden Baskets
Incorporating woven wooden baskets are a great way to give your setting an outdoorsy and rustic feel, perfect for spring. Wooden baskets look great with greenery and can be very useful too! Give your flower girls adorable woven baskets for their petals, or set up larger ones at the reception for dancing flip flops and party favors. You can even use baskets around your reception to hold flowers, disposable cameras, or beverages!

Animals
If you’re having an outdoor wedding, including a few animals or pets into the ceremony or reception is a great way to make your wedding even more fun and lighthearted. If you or your partner has a pet you love dearly, find a way to incorporate them into the ceremony or give them a seat at the special event! There are also a few animals you can rent for your wedding day, like llamas!

Fans
Spring in Georgia can get pretty warm sometimes! It’s always a good idea to have fans on hand in case you have the need for a cool breeze. Wooden and paper fans are great additions to set on your seating at the ceremony or table arrangements during the reception. You could even keep them in the wooden baskets we mentioned above! Decorative fans can also add to the spring aesthetic with painted flowers or embroidery on them. Some indoor/outdoor venues also have commercial fans that can be set up if need be.

Light Snacks
Before the main course, serve some light spring snacks! Including sweet spring snacks like fresh fruit, pastries, macarons, or skewers, can add a sophisticated touch to your day while also keeping your guests satisfied. Feel free to also serve refreshing drinks like iced tea or lemonade during your cocktail hour.
