Everything You Need to Know to Make Your Spring Wedding Bloom

If Spring is your favorite time of year, trust us, you’re not alone. With the blooming flowers, rising temperatures and longer days, it’s no surprise it’s one of the most popular seasons in which to get married. With all nature has to offer during the Spring, the perfect setting is created just by walking outside. However, if you’re planning to be a Spring bride, there are probably a few more things you’ll want to consider to really make your wedding bloom.

Spring Color Trends

Your Spring wedding color inspiration can be found by looking around you this time of year at the bright flowers, blue skies and pastel themes everywhere you go. Spring is all about colors, but it’s important to know the right ones to use.

~ Lemon yellow is a Springtime favorite because of its brightness and ability to brighten up a space. If you include yellow in your wedding, there’s no doubt it will bring cheer to everyone in attendance.

~ Greens are also a must in a Spring wedding. With Spring being all about nature, green simply highlights the naturalistic feel to your big day.

~ You can’t go wrong with pink and light blue, although, we recommend choosing one or the other. You don’t want your wedding to look like a gender reveal party. These colors separately can be very versatile, and being pastels will create a soft elegance to your wedding.

~ Be sure to get some white in the mix as well to accent the colors you’ve chosen. White will help those colors to stand out more, while also holding them back from being too overwhelming.

~ Tulips are the first flower we think of when we think of Spring. They’re bright and bold but will leave a sweet, unique impression on your guests.

~ Garden roses are such a popular choice for a Spring wedding because they come in so many colors and provide a subtle beauty, unlike any other flower.

~ Hydrangeas are a larger bloom that comes in many light colors. These flowers are perfect for a Spring wedding and also for a bride on a budget!

~ Daisies are a classic Springtime symbol. With their cute colors of white and yellow, they make for the perfect Spring flower and accent to any bouquet!

~ Top off your bouquets with green accents and some Baby’s Breath and you have the perfect representation of Spring right in the palms of your hands.

One thing we all look forward to at any wedding is eating desserts! Spring desserts call for those light, sweet flavors that really touch close to home while satisfying every sweet tooth in the room… or pavilion!

~ Lemon bars take us back to grandma’s house when the warm weather set in and the sun started shining a little longer in the day. With its perfect combination of tangy and sweet, its bright yellow color and its ability to put a smile on everyone’s faces make it the perfect dessert for your Spring wedding.

~ Key Lime Pies are the tangy, sweet, decadent treats that we wait all year for, and now that Spring is finally here, why not have them at your wedding? This chilled dessert is perfect to serve in the warmer weather, and its light green color perfectly represents the season.

~ The wedding cake trends for Spring have changed over the years, and now the trend is a simplistic look with little frosting and many layers. Adding in blooming flowers to match your wedding colors will have your cake looking like Spring all over!
